IT Advisory Committee
The IT Advisory Committee aims to set a new pace for technology adoption and development in Spartanburg County by providing resources and insight on issues involving telecommunications and information technologies. The goals are to improve broadband service availability to rural businesses and residents in Spartanburg County, grow the IT industry sector employment in Spartanburg County and improve service to taxpayers through recommendation to Council. Committee members will be full-time residents or have a business interest in Spartanburg County. At a minimum, technology professionals in South Carolina will represent each of the six county council districts in Spartanburg County.
