SPARTANBURG COUNTY RESIDENTS


Are you interested in learning more about Spartanburg County government?
Do you want to know how the County government works?
Do you want to understand how County government provides public service?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may be interested in enrolling in Spartanburg
County’s Citizens’ Academy.



Spartanburg County’s Citizens’ Academy (SCCA) is a learning forum intended to provide participants with insight on how County government works; open lines of communication between citizens and County staff; provide information on how citizens can easily utilize the services offered by County Government; and provide a realistic understanding of County Government operations.

ADMISSION QUALIFICATIONS:

•    Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
•    A resident of Spartanburg County.
•    Willing to commit to attend one information session each week for eight weeks.

SCCA will meet on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. September 13 – November 15
No class October 11 and November 8
Graduation will be held Monday, November 21
